Yankl is a hapless pickle worker on the Brick Lane, who's about to be bar mitsva. That is, if he can stop his fiery cousin Milly calling a strike at their workshop.
With the help of some magic beans - and Bohemian Rhapsody in Yiddish - they'll climb up a beanstalk to Mayfair to find their Giant, and seize the means of production.
Will Yankl and Milly get better pay and toilets? Will his mum Reyzl find true love? Will Yankl have his bar mitsva? It's all bashert from above!
Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
With thanks to Shoresh Trust and Hoxton Hall.
