The Festival Registration Assistant will play a key role in the run-up to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, under the Digital Marketing Coordinator they will act as one of the primary points of contact for all performing companies within the Pleasance’s festival programme.
They will support the Digital Marketing Coordinator to register all shows within the Pleasance’s festival programme, acting as a liaison between the Pleasance, the Fringe Society and the performing companies. They will provide performing companies with all relevant information needed ahead of their shows being put on sale and ensure that the programming, box office, marketing, operations and finance teams have all the information they need in order to fully process each show, working under the direction of each Head of Department.
Once registered, the Festival Registration Assistant will play an active role in proofing and amending all website and brochure entries for each show, tracking all changes and keeping the corresponding databases up to date. They will work particularly closely with the marketing department to help create and proof a wide range of promotional materials.
The Festival Registration Assistant will work closely with the wider team to manage correspondence with performing companies, sending operational updates and fielding enquiries.. They will undertake pre-production work across a variety of departments, ahead of key festival team members assuming their roles. They will assist the press team in collating and filing assets and assist the box office team in gathering information for joint ticketing initiatives, such as EdFest and Love The Fringe. They will assist the operations team with festival recruitment, volunteer onboarding and the management of guest lists for various festival events.

Full Job Title: Technician (Casual Pool)
Salary: £12.38 per hour

The Pleasance Theatre Trust aims to strengthen its pool of multi-skilled Technicians to assist in the smooth and safe delivery of technical support it's busy London fringe theatre.
The Technician will provide first class technical support to visiting companies from the point of arrival through to the conclusion of their get-outs. They will ensure that the venue facilities and resources are prepared and installed to satisfy the needs of the production, all work is carried out in a professional manner with excellent attention to detail and that the venues safe working practices are adhered to at all time whilst making the visiting companies feel welcome into the building.
Depending on their experience, the Technician may be required to fulfil Technical Support, Duty Technician and Specialist Technician (Lighting, Sound, AV) shifts. The technical pool of staff includes those of all levels of expertise who can undertake some or all of these remits.
The Technician will have excellent communication skills, a thorough knowledge of technical practices, be enthusiastic with a positive approach to work and be able to turn their hand to most challenges whilst remaining safety conscious at all times.

Work Experience & Internships
We offer work experience and internship placements throughout the year to anyone who thinks they might be interested in a career in the arts. The placements will including shadowing our Front of House, Box Office and Technical teams, as well as working with the administration staff.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people based in Islington and from under represented groups.
We are currently only able to offer work experience placements or internships of between one and two weeks to people in full-time education.
It's also worth noting that because of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, we are not able to host placements in July and August.
