They’re joined by Kirsty Wark and Brian Taylor for a conversation about the highs and lows of their illustrious careers in journalism – and the future of the news business.
Kirsty presented the BBC’s Newsnight programme for 30 years and presents Radio 4’s Start the Week, Front Row and The Reunion. She was awarded he Bafta fellowship, the British Academy's highest honour, earlier this year.
Brian was BBC Scotland’s Political Editor for almost three decades, covering the independence referendum and the reconvening Scottish Parliament. He now writes a politics column for The Herald newspaper.

BOOKING NOTES
As not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, we send out more tickets than there are places. This means that admission is on a first come, first served basis and entry is not guaranteed.
Doors will open 90 minutes before the start time and latecomers will not be admitted. On arrival, patrons will be given wristbands for the event and required to undergo security and bag checks. Bags larger than A4 size will not be permitted inside the auditorium so please travel light!

ENTRY TERMS & CONDITIONS
All ticket holders attending BBC shows must bring valid photo ID in order to gain admittance. If your photo ID does not match the name on the ticket you will not be admitted. Every additional guest aged 18 and above must also bring a form of photo ID from our approved list. Please note that all guests must be accompanied by the named ticket holder to ensure entry.
Photo ID must be original and in date (copies and out of date ID won’t be accepted). If you cannot provide this proof you will be refused entry.
Valid forms of ID are:
Passport
Driving licence
Biometric Residents permit
Citizen card
Validate UK ID card
HM Forces ID card
Police warrant card
Photographic travel card (e.g. Freedom Pass)
Voter Authority Certificate
Please note that only adults aged 18 or over need to bring ID on the day – it is not required for children under 18, although anyone who looks younger than the specified age limit for a show may be required to show proof of age in order to be admitted.

Babies (infants under 2 years old) are not allowed in the venue.
